Goan Places

Panjim
It is the capital city of Goa. Panjim greets the travellers with its twin arms i.e the two bridges which beautify the highway leading to Panjim. Panjim is the central place for travelling across Goa. Complete with ancient Churches and Villas, Panjim has taken care to restore its historical heritage while adjusting to the new culture and advancements. River Mandovi flows through the city. The state of Panjim was made capital by the Portuguese people after an epidemic break forced them to leave the old capital. Hotels in Panjim are easily available. The city now owns an Interstate bus network and also a-well oiled State machinery for the tourists.

Palolem
It is among the most beautiful beaches in Goa. Surrounded by lofty headlands on both the sides, it has a natural bay. Palolem Beach is within 2 kilometres from market town of Chaudi which is in the south of Goantaluka of Canacona. It is about one hour's drive from coastal town of Karwar, Karnataka. Hotels in Palolem Goa are easily available. The other neighbouring beaches in South Goa are Agonda beach & Cola beach.

Miramar Beach
This Beach is the nearest beach from Goa's capital, Panaji. The beach of Miramar, Goa is just a kilometer from Dona Paula. It lies connecting to the river Mandovi as it enters into the Arabian sea.

 Miramar Beach is also known as Gaspar Dias.  'Miramar' in Portuguese means and stands for viewing the sea. Miramar Beach is ideal for evening strolls. The tourists in Goa spend a quality time in the Palm shaded area and it is very captivating for the tourists going to the Miramar beach.
